Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer

Salary range:120-160k base + OTE
Position Overview:
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of this company's sales team by providing technical expertise and support during the pre-sales process. You will work closely with the sales team, understanding customer needs, and crafting tailored solutions to address those requirements. This role requires a combination of technical acumen, communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and offer technical guidance and solutions.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of proposals, technical documentation, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
Proof of Concept: Work on the development and execution of proof of concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of our solutions.
Customer Training: Provide technical training to customers during the sales process to ensure a smooth transition to the implementation phase.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to effectively articulate our value proposition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Over 8 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in IT consulting and cybersecurity industries.
Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with relevant technologies/software/tools
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
