Information Security Specialist – Birmingham hybrid - £40,000 - £50,000 + Excellent benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Information Security professional to join our client who is currently growing their InfoSec & GRC function. This is a super exciting opportunity which will give you exposure to multiple arms of the business, enabling you to work with and influence various different stakeholders, lead junior team members, and act as a key contributor to our clients InfoSec strategy. We are looking for people who have prior InfoSec or GRC experience, with experience working with various standards such a PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST, and similar.
Main responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards around PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO27001, GDPR, and more.
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.
Work with senior security leadership member to deliver and improve the InfoSec strategy.
Monitor and analyse security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on security-related matters.
Assist with regulatory compliance efforts and security audits.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Must have prior InfoSec or GRC or a similar position.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST, or similar.
Experience advising and working with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in performing risk assessments and security audits.
