This company is seeking a Director of Information Security to lead and shape its cybersecurity landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and administer information security strategies and procedures.
Develop and implement information security and governance programs aligned with organizational standards.
Evaluate information risk regularly and raise security awareness within the organization.
Create sub-function strategies and objectives, including budget, policies, and procedures.
Apply deep hands-on knowledge of security principles and best practices.
Identify security risks and vulnerabilities, proactively implementing countermeasures.
Lead and manage the security team, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
Review and update security measures as necessary.
Oversee daily security operations, identify risks, and propose enhancements.
Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability studies with mitigation plans.
Investigate and resolve security matters.
Analyze security trends and incidents to adjust security protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations.
Strong knowledge of security technologies, tools, and best practices.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Benefits:
Competitive salary in the range of $170,000 - $210,000.
