Role: Network Penetration Tester

Salary:$80,000 – $115,000 + Benefits

Location:Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)

We are partnering with a fast-growing offensive security consultancy headquartered in Utah, actively seeking aNetwork Penetration Testerto join their team remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a company that values technical depth, continuous learning, and impactful client engagements.

About the Role:

As a Network Penetration Tester, you’ll be responsible for simulating real-world cyber attacks to uncover vulnerabilities across client networks and infrastructure. You’ll conduct both internal and external assessments, contribute to improving security posture, and be a key part of a collaborative, hands-on team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal and external network penetration tests and vulnerability assessments

• Simulate advanced adversarial tactics including lateral movement, privilege escalation, and network pivoting

• Develop detailed technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Contribute to red team operations, network threat modeling, and security posture evaluations

• Collaborate with team members to refine tools, tactics, and methodologies

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in

  network penetration testing

  (consulting experience a plus)

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and common network protocols

• Experience with tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, Cobalt Strike, and BloodHound

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory attacks, and lateral movement techniques

• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal

• Industry certifications such as OSCP, PNPT, or GPEN are a plus but not required
