Software Quality Assurance Engineer- £40,000-£60,000 + bonus/benefits- (United Kingdom, Remote)
Locke & McCloud are working alongside a hugely successful global Cyber Security Consultancy, who are looking to add a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to their team, whose focus lies on developing customer projects of varied scope and complexity and conducting research in line with company standards.
This role would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain exposure to a technical role and work effectively towards a Senior position.
As Software Quality Assurance Engineers, you'll be expected to effectively conduct white box and black box testing, performance testing and test automation including test planning.
This role is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
Provide estimates for software quality work at a high level of accuracy
Review and contribute to the creation of Test Plan documents following the defined documentation standards
Independently modify any existing automated test scripts for additional features or enhancements
Assist in providing third-line support to resolve any customer issues
Confidently understand new software quality assurance ideas and concepts and apply them so you can participate in the creation or refinement of new software quality practices
Provide support to Software Engineers during any of the Software Quality Assurance testing cycles
Preferred Skills/Experience
Automation experience scripting and running automated tests
Software testing experience
Degree in Computer Science or similar degree of a background
Knowledge or experience of automated testing of APIs using frameworks/tools using one or more of the following tools: Postman, Selenium,
Good knowledge of Cyber Security/ICT technologies
