Role: ​Senior Pre sales Technical Consultant

Location: London UK Hybrid

Salary: £90,000-£110,000

I am working with a private equity backed, well established consultancy who provides top class support to their clients, known for their professionalism and quality of service across the globe.

They are looking for a Senior Pre sales Technical Consultant to join their team.

Their team covers all areas of cyber security meaning you will gain exposure to different tools, providing pre sales support within different Cyber Security technologies and verticals.

This role is very much focused around supporting the sales team and bridging the gap between them and the technical teams. You will support and communicate with multiple clients, discussing the requirements and providing technical advice in a non-technical way so that they can understand.

You will communicate with stakeholders within these companies, keeping them up to date with projects being undertaken, this involves attending meetings, conference calls and also presenting documents/presentations.

This role offers some great benefits, as well as the opportunity to progress down multiple avenues of Cyber Security.

Role includes:

  • Creating LLD and HLD's documents for customer solutions

  • Being able to break down technical terms in a non-technical way

  • Liaising with multiple clients on scoping/requirements and also working closely with the sales team

  • Utilising your technical knowledge of different tools and technologies such as networking, SIEM and Cloud tools.

  • Working and providing presales support in Line with ISO27001 and NIST frameworks

Essential experience:

  • Around 6 years experience within a technical role or 3 years within technical pre sales

  • Knowledge or experience with SIEM tools, Networking tools such as firewalls and cloud technologies

  • Strong understanding of ISO27001 and NIST frameworks, with experience in these

  • The ability to speak comfortably with multiple clients and discuss requirements/scoping in full

  • Extensive understanding of Proof of concept, bill of materials and all commercial aspects of pre sales.
