Role: ​New Business Development Manager

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 Double OTE


Our client:

I am working with a client who is one of the largest IT security consultancies in the UK & Ireland. My client’s team continues to grow after increasing success throughout the business and they are looking to employ a Business Development Professional who can demonstrate high levels of customer empathy and expertise. My client would like to hire someone who has a ‘hunter’ mentality to assist the company with its highly ambitious growth plans.

My client is currently operating on a remote basis with a flexible working pattern.


Job Role/Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear sales plans to maintain complete transparency and consistency in how customer needs are met.

  • Effectively contribute to any projects within the business and work to develop any new ideas that align with the business goals.

  • Contribute to the financial planning of the business through accurate sales and fulfilment of them.

  • Ensure that you are meeting and exceeding all sales targets whilst ensuring the progression of the business and customer satisfaction.

  • Passionate about the technology used within the business and ready to learn and develop skills every day.

  • Implement a strong account planning process.

  • To establish and maintain any relationships formed with a customer base at a high standard.

  • Develop customised programs that are suitable for client needs and close business.

  • Negotiate any business contracts and costs with customers when necessary.

  • Address any customer queries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.


To be considered, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in data protection

  • New businesses driven – Hunter mentality

  • Ability to plan and deliver a sales plan.

  • Show the ability to identify any problems and implement innovative solutions.

  • Knowledge and ability to develop market and competitor insights.

  • Ability to problem-solve and identify new opportunities for upselling and account development through creative selling.

  • Great communication, presentation, and business writing skills.
