Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist – UK remote - £70,000 - £100,000 + Bonus!


Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our clients established Cyber Threat Intelligence and Incident Response team. You will play a crucial role in our clients cyber security operations, working on various threat intelligence and incident response operations. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence data, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop proactive threat mitigation strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks.

• Assist in incident response activities by providing timely and accurate threat intelligence.

• Create detailed threat intelligence reports and briefings for both technical and non technical stakeholders.

• Proactively search for potential threats within the organization's networks and systems.

• Develop and execute threat hunting strategies to identify hidden threats.

• Work closely with other cyber security teams, including the SOC, to share threat intelligence insights and enhance security measures.

• Provide training and guidance to internal teams to enhance their understanding of emerging threats and best practices for cyber security.

• Continuously research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to stay up-to-date with the evolving threat landscape.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis and cyber threat detection.

• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and other cyber security technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
