Cyber Security Awareness Manager – London hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Cyber/Information Security Awareness/Training specialist to join our client as their new Cyber Security Awareness Manager. Due to our clients recent growth, this role has been created to ensure there is a culture of cyber security awareness across all of our clients departments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing and implementing innovative training programs and initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to raise awareness, promote best practices, and improve our clients overall security maturity.

Main responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement cyber security training programs tailored to the needs of different departments and employees.

  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, e-learning modules, and other resources, to effectively communicate cybersecurity concepts and best practices.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, both in-person and virtually.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT teams, HR, executives, and department heads, to understand their specific cyber security needs and align training initiatives accordingly.

  • Develop and execute cybersecurity awareness campaigns and initiatives to reinforce training and promote a security-conscious culture across our clients organisation.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through metrics, feedback, and assessments, and continuously refine content and delivery methods to improve impact and engagement.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure training materials and programs remain current and compliant.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Must have prior experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security awareness training and education.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and execute training programs from inception to completion.

  • Experience working collaboratively with various teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
