Cyber Security Analyst – UK remote - £25,000 - £35,000 + Excellent benefits


Locke & McCloud are working with our client who is looking to grow their Cyber Security team, and are on the search for experienced IT/Security professionals to join them at a Junior – Mid level. You’ll be working within their established Cyber Security team to work across their Microsoft suite and manage overall cyber security.


Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential security threats.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.

  • Stay abreast of the latest security vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigation strategies.

  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.

  • Document and report incident details, root causes, and remediation steps.

  • Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and educate stakeholders on best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security measures.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience working within IT and/or Cyber Security.

  • You must have experience with Microsoft O365.

  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts, protocols, and technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
