Cyber Security Analyst – UK remote - £25,000 - £35,000 + Excellent benefits
Locke & McCloud are working with our client who is looking to grow their Cyber Security team, and are on the search for experienced IT/Security professionals to join them at a Junior – Mid level. You’ll be working within their established Cyber Security team to work across their Microsoft suite and manage overall cyber security.
Main responsibilities:
Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential security threats.
Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Stay abreast of the latest security vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
Document and report incident details, root causes, and remediation steps.
Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Stay informed about emerging security threats and educate stakeholders on best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security measures.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Proven experience working within IT and/or Cyber Security.
You must have experience with Microsoft O365.
In-depth knowledge of security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
