Role Overview:

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our client's cloud environment and data. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring the ongoing protection of sensitive information. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline and contribute to the continuous improvement of security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security measures throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests (SAST, DAST) to identify and address potential weaknesses in the cloud infrastructure.

  • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.

  • Manage and maintain cloud security tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively integrated into the cloud environment.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, best practices, and industry standards to continuously improve the security posture.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based architecture with a strong focus on security principles.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of security policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer with a strong focus on Azure cloud environments.

  • Extensive experience with DevSecOps, integrating security into the development and operations processes.

  • Familiarity with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and techniques.

  • Solid understanding of various security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, etc.

  • Experience with cloud management in an Azure environment is essential.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to security incidents effectively.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
