We are currently partnering with a global MSSP who are looking for a SIEM Development Engineer to join their expanding team.. As a key player in the industry, they are dedicated to shaping the future of digital defense by developing innovative tools and solutions.

We are excited to begin this search for a skilled SIEM Development Cyber Engineer, someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute to the advancement of our client's SIEM platform.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with both security engineers and software developers to design, build, and refine their SIEM platform.

  • Leverage your strong software development background to enhance the functionality and performance of their SIEM tool.

  • Create tailored solutions using programming languages like Java and Python to elevate the capabilities of their SIEM platform.

  • Play a vital role in identifying security vulnerabilities, recommending solutions, and implementing industry best practices.

  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, further elevating the quality of their MSSP's offerings.

  • Contribute to incident response efforts and actively participate in proactive threat hunting.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

  • A proven track record of effective collaboration with security engineers and software developers.

  • Hands-on experience in developing and refining SIEM platforms to enhance their features and functionality.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat detection, and incident response strategies.

  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC will enhance your candidacy.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
