Senior Data Protection Analyst – London hybrid - £45,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Excellent benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Senior Data Protection Analyst to join our clients growing Data Privacy & Protection team.As a Senior Data Protection Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our clients data Protection strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our clients data privacy framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and mitigating potential risks.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work with the Data Protection team to develop and implement a complex Data Privacy & Protection strategy and roadmap.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures.

  • Ensure alignment with global data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.

  • Conduct thorough privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Lead and coordinate responses to data privacy incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken.

  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to assess and manage privacy risks in vendor relationships.

  • Work closely with legal, compliance, IT, security, and other relevant departments to integrate data privacy into business processes.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Must have strong experience in data protection, with a focus on policy development and strategy development.

  • Strong knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR.

  • Experience ensuring compliance with GDPR and other global data protection laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex protection concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience leading and owning Data Privacy & Protection projects/programs.
