Deputy of Risk (Security) | Remote, UK | £90,000 - £110,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy of Security Risk to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing its security team and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security risk management and be able to effectively communicate with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize threats to the organisation and its employees;

  • Oversee and manage a team of security professionals, ensuring that all personnel are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties;

  • Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans;

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and other security professionals;

  • Ensure that all security protocols are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations;

  • Monitor and investigate incidents of security breaches or potential threats to the organisation;

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety of employees and assets during crises;

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on security risks and incident response.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in security risk management, preferably in a corporate or government environment;

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to a variety of stakeholders;

  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing security risk management;

  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments and developing mitigation plans;

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
