Job requirements:

  • Assist with the analysis of security risk assessments
  • Act as a point of conduct for incident response and vulnerability assessments
  • Deal with security alerts and tickets and pass information on to team lead
  • Assist in the development of security policies and controls such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
  • Ensure the organisation is compliant with various security frameworks
  • Conduct vulnerability management exercises to highlight areas of fragility

The ideal candidate will have

  • 3+ Years’ professional experience in Cyber Security
  • Experience working on Incident Response engagements
  • Experience dealing with business vulnerabilities and creating remediation plans
  • Experience working in line with Compliance regulations
  • Display experience working on Penetration Testing engagements
  • A background in Security Operations will make your application stand out
  • Have experience in dealing with Email phishing attacks
  • Display experience in reporting back to Senior members of the team in order to highlight risks effectively

Remote working is also the main feature of this role. You will be expected to travel to the office once a fortnight. Fancy working from a beach?   • Conducting a great deal of web, mobile, and infrastructure Pen Tests, vulnerability assessments and some red team engagements
  • Write reports and communicate findings to relevant parties, communicating technical findings in non-technical language.
  • Highlighting ways in which vulnerabilities identified can have financial implications to the organization
  • Suggest any ways in which you feel vulnerabilities can be challenged more effectively
  • Highlight ways in which you feel the testing operation could be carried out more effectively in order to keep up with the ever-changing landscape

Experience required

  • 2+ years’ experience in penetration testing.
  • OSCP is the minimum certification required for you to be considered for this role
  • Experience using various tools of engagement such as Burp Suite and Nesus
  • Experience in Web Application, infrastructure, and mobile Penetration Testing
  • Experience writing reports on vulnerabilities identified
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the desire to be part of a very social team
  • Hold UK citizenship.
