Check Team Leader

As a Check Team Leader, your experience is invaluable to most pentetsing companies who are looking to have the most technical minds working for them. You would take on the responsibility of ensuring the junior members of the team are working to maximise the overall productivity of the pentesting division.

You will not solely be focused on Check engagements as these can become repetitive, why not investigate different engagements such as Red Teaming and Social Engineering projects which will ensure you are excited about going into work on a daily basis!

Remote working is also the main feature of this role. You will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week in order to oversee the junior testers, however, the rest of your working week can be carried out from the comfort of your own home. This will ensure your social life does not take a backseat as a result of your next career move!

Responsibilities

  • Conducting a great deal of web, mobile, and infrastructure pentests, vulnerability assessments, and some red team engagements
  • Overseeing junior penetration testers to ensure they are developing their skills at the rate necessary to maintain standards.
  • Write reports and communicate findings to relevant parties, communicating technical findings in non-technical language.
  • Highlighting ways in which vulnerabilities identified can have financial implications to the organisation
  • Suggest any ways in which you feel vulnerabilities can be challenged more effectively
  • Highlight ways in which you feel the testing operation could be carried out more effectively in order to keep up with the ever-changing landscape

Experience required

  • 4+ years’ experience in penetration testing.
  • Check Team Leader status
  • Experience using various tools of engagement such as Burp Suite and Nesus
  • Experience in web application, infrastructure, and mobile pentesting
  • Vast experience writing reports
  • Experience Leasing with company managers and directors in order to establish a strategy
  • Excellent written and communication skills
