Title: Lead SIEM Consultant  (Logrythm)

Day Rate: £550 - £600

SIEM Consultant is required for a services driven tech consultancy who are the largest IT consultancy in the UK. The SIEM consultant is a crucial role, shaping the direction of client delivery. This will be a 3-6 month contract with the view of a possible extension and be outside IR35. 

The role will carry out a variety of selected duties including, but not limited to:

  • SIEM technical consultancy covering install, configuration, upgrades and health checks
  • Delivery of SIEM design scoping workshops
  • Providing technical pre-sales support by attending meetings, conference calls, providing technical web demonstrations and in any other way required
  • Technical scoping of customer requirements
  • Creating high and low level technical documentation for customer consultancy engagements
  • 3rd line technical support

Maintain qualifications in relevant vendor accreditations

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Must have extensive experience within Logrythm
  • Expert knowledge in SIEM technologies
  • Experience in Financial Services, Government Organisations or Military
  • Strong academic record including a relevant undergraduate (Bachelors) degree achieving a 2:1 or above
  • Awareness of National and International security standards
  • Project management experience - Prince2 / PMI / MSP
  • Team Leadership / Management experience
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM

Information Security Analyst - Outside IR35

Location: London 

Duration: 6-12 months

Day Rate: £600-650 (Outside IR35) 

Start Date: ASAP

An exciting opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to join a public sector client to help deliver a transformation project on a 6-12month contract basis where you will be responsible for the delivery of Information Security program and will be involved in the development of policies and incident response. You will be working in a large team helping to Identify and respond to cyber threats and security risks whilst working closely with reporting CISO.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies key points of contact, establishes communication channel. Collaborates with functional teams on cyber risks and company information security initiatives
  • Initiates security assessment/audit overview meetings and schedule Q&A sessions
  • Performs security risk assessments and provides information security awareness. Conducts internal security and confidential information investigations and information usage security audits
  • Leads and supports enterprise wide information security and cyber risk assessments with technical and non-technical teams
  • Manages assessment/audit timeline for questionnaire, interview, evidence verification, and report preparation
  • Proactively identifies and develops recommendations to information security and cyber risk issues and vulnerabilities by working with multiple teams including privacy, compliance, internal audit, legal, HR, information technology, etc

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience gathering information from a range of different sources, developing and creating search queries
  • Experience in using InfoSec assessment/audit tools and/or controls questionnaires-based industry standard frameworks (i.e. NIST; ISO; Cobit; CSA)
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience
  • Candidate must have excellent organization skills and be a self-motivated learner
  • CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP certifications
