I am currently working on a unique role for a leading Financial Company in Leeds who are looking to hire an Information Security Analyst to maintain and secure my client’s Cyber Security Centre’s internal infrastructure.

The Information Security Analyst will work alongside an existing internal team of 15 people to conduct regular security assessments of their infrastructure and provide expert incident response services in the event of a cyber security incident.

Duties Include:

  • Develop and improve the Cyber Security Centre's threat hunting capability by conducting regular cyber security 
  • Implementing security frameworks within Networks and Cloud technology
  • A clear understanding of ISO27001, PCI DSS, and other frameworks
  • Dealing with threat and risks vulnerabilities
  • Communicating competently with stakeholders, and senior members of staff

Requirements:

  • Prior experience conducting vulnerability scanning, identifying risk and threats, using Cloud-based Technologies
  • Prior experience in an Information Security Analyst role
  • Must be capable of holding a UK National Security Clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 1 year+ experience in an Analyst role to move into the end client space because roles like this don't come around very often. I am currently working with an exciting media/advertising start-up in West London who are looking for an IAM Analyst to join their growing security team on a contract basis.

This is a long-term contract working for a very flexible & professional company.

This position will require the individual to provide capability assessments of the HR processes and systems, whilst providing recommendations and assisting with the implementation of solutions.

You will need to have previously delivered Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and solutions.

 

Required:

 

• Degree education, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

• Experience in SailPoint Identity solutions or CyberArk

• Experience with virtual directory solutions like Radiant Logic and or Oracle products

• Experience supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ including monitoring tasks, initiating certifications and executing reports.

• Exposure on various incident management systems and ticketing tools.

• Experience managing Incidents, Service Request and Changes within defined SLAs.

 

Preferred:

 

• Certification on an IAM product

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Identity Management, Access Management, Role Based Access Control, User Access Certification and Federation

• Experience in administration, installation and troubleshooting of IAM solution in an enterprise environment

• Experience in maintaining an access management/SSO system in a large, complex organization

• Experience in standard operating procedures to perform IAM pre and post-production support activities

• Good knowledge of best practices in IAM systems design and maintenance

• Production support experience in incident management, problem management and change management.

• Extensive knowledge and skills in maintaining an access management/SSO system

• Experience in managing deployments of SailPoint IdentityIQ and access management product

• Experience with role mining, role-based access control and access certification with SailPoint IdentityIQ or CyberArk

IAM Security Analyst

Information Security Lead – IAM

Locke and McCloud have been exclusively retained to work alongside a very exciting client that has just embarked on their biggest company transformation for 70 years.

The company is making a huge £35 million digital transformation, moving away from On-Prem to Cloud. Security is at the forefront of the transformation project and the client has decided to build a very specialist Security Team to get them through the next 3 years of roadmap and BAU after.

The Cyber Security teams are broken down into three sections in which one of the sections will be a stand-alone expert for their IAM and Infosec strategy.

To name a few responsibilities:

  • As the stand-alone expert, you will manage their largescale CyberArk implementation. Take Sailpoint from proof of concept through to implementation working with the Architects and delivery team to ensuring a successful deployment.
  • You will have full ownership of all IAM activities which include managing all of the identities that may be relatable to a person, asset and even objects. This will include information, the facilities and company technology.
  • You will be tasked with defining and implementing the necessary controls for third parties in accordance with security requirements.
  • You will be involved in key decision-making processes that relate to all application security of the business.
  • You must be an analytical forward-thinking consultant that can make appropriate assessments and suggestions to the overall security posture of the company.
  • Stakeholder management experience is also crucial as you will be reporting directly to the CISO.

Growth potential:

This position could progress in two ways dependant on the successful candidate’s preference. Either more of an Architect role or Cyber Security Manager.

The ability work on a greenfield large-scale transformation project.
