Unified Communications Architect – Providence, RI – $170,000 + 22 days PTO
I am currently working on a unique role for a major organization in Providence who are looking who are looking to hire a UC Architect to join their team and play a lead role in the architecture, design, configuration and implementation of the enterprise unified communications infrastructure and systems of my client’s organisation.
The UC Architect will get to take on a technical project lead role in assigned unified communications infrastructure projects. You will also be responsible for providing operational support and acting as a technical escalation point for the unified communications infrastructure of the company.
The UC Architect will take charge of a small team and have complete autonomy over the companies UC systems. This is a great role for an Architect who is looking for a Principal or Head of UC role within a major organization.
Duties Include:
Architect, design, and engineer of the enterprise unified communications infrastructure.
Build and configure enterprise unified communications systems and infrastructure in complex environment.
Recommending and defining architecture, design & configuration standards and best practices.
Providing design and engineering support for projects from inception through the planning, design, implementation and operational phase.
Building and configuring enterprise unified communications systems and infrastructure within a complex environment.
Being the Principal Architect for the design and engineer of the enterprise unified communications infrastructure.
Managing projects with multiple stakeholders and engaging with key people at all levels within the organization.
Requirements:
You must have a solid understanding of telephony, TDM, VOIP, voice gateways, IP, network technologies and protocols.
At least 3 years work experience in network infrastructure and systems architecture, analysis, design and related architectural and engineering experience in a complex enterprise environment.
A current certification in Cisco Collaboration (CCNP CCDP, CCIE) and other relevant technologies a major plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
