Role: Senior Penetration Tester
Location: UK Remote
Salary: £65,000-£80,000+Benefits
Our client, a boutique cyber security company, is looking for an engaging and motivated Senior Penetration Tester to join their team. This company is making waves in the penetration testing space and, because of this, engages with some exciting and unique clients. As a Senior Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies for our clients. Although there will be no direct management, some mentoring and/or managerial experience is advantageous.
This role will involve:
Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on a wide range of systems, applications, and networks
Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in web applications, networks, operating systems, and databases
Conduct infrastructure testing, including internal and external network testing, cloud security assessments, and wireless security testing
Create comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations for remediation
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, assist with training and development
To be considered for this role you must have:
At least three years of experience in penetration testing and security assessment
Proven track record of identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in web applications, networks, operating systems, and databases
Experience leading or mentoring a team
of penetration testers is advantageous
Experience with infrastructure testing, including internal and external network testing, cloud security assessments, and wireless security testing
CTL (infrastructructure) certified is desired, however, a CTM with a clear plan to obtaining the CTL will also be considered.
