Senior Data Privacy Manager – UK remote - £80,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Data Privacy and Protection Manager to join our client that is currently going through a huge transformational project across their Data Protection team. As the new Senior Data Privacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our clients data privacy program.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations and industry standards, so it is key you are a confident communicator, and an expert within Data Privacy & Protection.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the restructure of the Data Privacy and Data Protection strategy and roadmap on a global scale.

  • Build a team of high performing and experienced Data Privacy professionals, into an already established Data Privacy team.

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures in alignment with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Ensure policies are communicated effectively across the organization and provide training to employees on data privacy best practices.

  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments for new and existing projects, products, and processes to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.

  • Evaluate and monitor data privacy practices of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with our clients standards.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Must have strong experience in Data Privacy/Protection, with a demonstrated track record of success in implementing and managing privacy programs.

  • Ability to advise and maintain key relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.

  • Experience working on various projects at one time.

  • Deep understanding of data privacy laws on a global scale.
