This role is a predominantly remote position with occasional visits to London.
The role will involve:
Implementation and management of effective and timely incident resolution
To understand the implementation workflow for the deployment of security services both internally and externally for clients
Produce accreditation evidence, security policies and operating procedures, risk assessments, and security assurance management plans
Experience working with stakeholders, liaising directly with the client, and ensuring all programme deadlines are adhered to
Analysing the effectiveness of active security controls and proposing enhanced security improvements
Mentor and train colleagues within the team and in other areas of the business
Taking on a leadership approach in a mentoring capacity to other consultants to enable their development and progression
To be considered for the role, you should have:
Prior experience working in a cyber risk or information security role, ideally at least 3 years.
As strong understanding of IT security technologies, including firewalls, networks, application security and access management systems.
Experience and knowledge of GRC frameworks, including ISO, NIST, HIPAA or COBIT and experience with audit processes such as PCI, GDPR or SOX.
A customer focused mentality and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to customers.
Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
Essential Requirements:
SC Clearance- if not, willing to undergo the government security clearance process
Must be eligible to work in the UK and have the relevant right-to-work documents
Willing to travel
Desired Experience & Skills:
Working with suppliers and assuring security in their equipment deliveries
Knowledge and understanding of cloud security
Experience with, Microsoft Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, Tenable Nessus, Microsoft Defender, CarbonBlack, AlienVault, LogRhythm, Sentinel, and Mimecast
This role would also suit a Cyber Security Consultant who is looking to progress to a Senior Consultant or Team Lead role within 12-18 months, and my client will provide the structure, training and support network in order for the successful candidates to achieve this.
