Are you a seasoned cyber security engineer looking to take your skills to the next level? Our client, a nation-wide known company, is seeking a Cyber Engineering Lead to join their team and lead a team of skilled engineers to maintain and improve the security posture of their enterprise.
As a Cyber Engineering Lead, you will have the rare opportunity to shape the future of cyber security while working with cutting-edge tools and technologies. You will be responsible for leading a team of cyber engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our client's sensitive information and systems from cyber threats.
You will be expected to be well-versed in SIEM tools such as Splunk, and vulnerability management tools like Tenable and Qualys, and have a strong understanding of security concepts such as encryption, access control, and incident response. Additionally, you should have experience with network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Leading a team of cyber engineers and providing technical guidance and mentoring
Designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions
Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Configuring and maintaining security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions
Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
To be considered you must have:
7+ years of experience in cyber security engineering
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Strong technical skills in SIEM tools such as Splunk, and vulnerability management tools like Tenable and Qualys
Expertise in security concepts such as encryption, access control, and incident response
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CISSP, CISM, or other relevant industry certifications are a plus
