Cyber Security Architect – London– £95,000 plus benefits

I am currently working on a newly created position for a leading cyber consulting company in London who are looking to hire a Security Architect to play a key role in helping new and existing clients to define and implement security architectures and solutions based on their client’s bespoke requirements. The Security Architect will be responsible for identifying risk relating to Security Architecture, as well as maintaining awareness of best practise across various platforms, with a particular emphasis on cloud infrastructure.

The Security Architect will work closely with other members of the consulting team and will develop a close relationship with the company’s existing clients, as well as assisting the Presales team to conduct security demos for new prospects. My client currently employs 35 people and have plans to grow the team to 40+ by end of this year.

The core duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are:

·       Producing high level Security Architecture Designs and conceptual architecture documentation.

·       Advising clients on the architecture and design of their business systems.

·       Working to clients to produce end-to-end security designs.

·       Managing projects with multiple stakeholders and engaging with key people at all levels within the organization.

·       Deliver training to end users within the client’s organisation.

To be considered for this role you must have:

·       Prior experience designing systems using Microsoft Azure, O365 Cloud App Security Centre and Office 365 Security.

·       Strong client facing experience, with extensive knowledge of security design and architecture processes.

·       CISSP, CISM or CISA qualified.

This is a great opportunity for a talented Security Architect who has experience designing, implementing and managing security infrastructure to move into a lead Architect role. My client invests heavily in training and development. You will get the chance to work with some experienced Consultants and Architects and be supported within a collaborative team environment.

If you’ve been contracting and are considering moving to a permanent role but haven’t been able to find the right one in London recently then please reach out also, it’s unlikely that a role of this stature and seniority will come around again anytime soon.

Phone interviews are scheduled for later this week and my client can conduct the entire interview process and have the successful candidate start working remotely. If you’re interested in hearing more, send your CV to b.connolly@locke-mccloud.com
