Role:Sales Engineer (Presales)

Location:Richmond, Virginia - hybrid

Salary: $80,000-$110,000 base with $150k OTE

We are currently representing a rapidly growing SaaS company in the data center and colocation space, and we are seeking a talented sales engineer to join their expanding team in Richmond, Virginia.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

About the Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the sales and technical teams. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering tailored demos in custom environments and presenting complex SaaS solutions directly to C-suite executives. You’ll need to be adaptable, technically astute, and confident in engaging senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compelling demos and presentations in customized environments to potential clients

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support the full sales cycle

  • Engage with C-suite professionals and other senior decision-makers

  • Assist in identifying client needs and proposing tailored SaaS solutions

  • Stay ahead of the latest trends in the Data Center/Colocation industry

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales/presales is essential

  • Background in the Data Center/Colocation space is a significant advantage

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of working directly with executive leadership

  • Ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into business benefits

  • A team player with a desire for continuous learning and growth in a fast-paced environment
