Locke & McCloud are currently working with a leading cyber security company, that are in need of a skilled Cloud Penetration Tester to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who specialises in cloud testing to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This isn't your regular testing role and will allow to opportunity to shape and define the penetration testing department.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on cloud-based systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential risks.

  • Assess cloud architecture, configuration, and network security to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Develop and execute penetration testing plans, methodologies, and tools specifically designed for cloud environments.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on secure cloud deployment and configuration.

  • Prepare detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, their impact, and recommended remediation strategies.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • A Proven experience as a Penetration Tester, with a strong focus on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • CRT or CRT equivalent is a necessity.

  • Proficiency in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security assessments in cloud-based systems.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and platforms (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center).

  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively.

  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
