​Network Security Engineer – Providence, RI – $140,000 + 22 days PTO

I am currently working on a unique role for a major organization in Providence who are looking who are looking to hire a Network Security Engineer to join their team of cyber and network security specialists.

The Network Security Analyst will be joining a large and rapidly expanding team to work on an exciting array of upcoming projects.

My client is a Cisco house so someone with extensive experience implementing and maintaining Cisco network systems is a prerequisite.

Duties Include:

·      To maintain the firm’s security and network posture/performance by proactively monitoring their network and security infrastructure.

·      To work on firewall upgrade projects and new firewall builds.

·      To identify, diagnose, and resolve information security/ network issues.

·      Ensure proper protocols and processes are followed by creating and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network and security infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Network Security Engineer in a Cisco environment.

• Strong knowledge of network access control systems, preferably Forescout.

• Prior experience working on network segmentation projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP & CCIE are highly desirable.
