L2 SOC Analyst | Peterborough | £40,000-£55,000

I am working with a Cyber Security Consultancy who have won numerous awards and are a leading Microsoft partner. They specialise in SOC services and Network Security, providing top class support to their clients.

They are looking for a L2 SOC Analyst to join their team

This role is very much focused around the alerts and response duties a SOC Analyst would have, but also being able to work with a very close-knit team and have the personal touch to clients and their projects. This role has a heavy empathises on Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Defender and Sentinel and the progression path for you would be to go into an engineering role!

To be a good fit for this role, you should have strong experience in Microsoft Defender and be SC eligible. If no experience in Microsoft, strong experience in Rapid7 is beneficial.

You will communicate with stakeholders within the clients your company supports, helping to keep them updated on work being undertaken and how things are being responded to.

Being part of a small team will mean you can learn from other Senior Analysts and also mentor L1 Analysts below you. This role offers some great benefits, with pay rises in mind for the future, as well as the opportunity to have certifications and training paid for!
