Junior-Mid Level Penetration Tester | West Midlands |£30,000-£45,000

I am currently seeking a dedicated Junior-Mid Level Penetration Tester who is looking to embark on their next challenge in the Penetration Testing industry.

I am working with a boutique consultancy that is looking for a talented, motivated, and driven Penetration Tester to join their ever-expanding team. This role will not only offer you extensive exposure to Red Team engagements. The low utilization rate offers the right candidate a fantastic split between testing and research time.

This company are looking to invest in the right candidate to be apart of their bigger growth plans. You will work directly with the owner of the business, learning directly from a market leader in Penetration Testing.

Essential Experience:

• 6 months - 2 years of Penetration Testing experience
• CRT/QSTM/CSTM Certification needed
• Familiarity with application vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Burp Suite)
• Experience with the command line on Linux and Windows operating systems
• Application development or scripting knowledge and experience is desirable, but not required
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare documentation and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to research vulnerabilities and utilize off-the-shelf exploits
• Basic understanding of web application frameworks (React, Springboot, Ruby on Rails, J2EE, PHP, ASP.NET)
