Job: Splunk/DevOps Engineer
Duration: 8-12 months (Strong view of extension)
Daily Rate: €750-€1000

A really exciting opportunity where you will be working for multinational brand who Is a true leader within their field. A true recognition to have on your CV. This will be a chance to get involved on a really exciting long-term security transformation project that will be a minimum 8-12 months (high possibility of an extension) where you will be a crucial role for the Splunk DevOps Engineer and will be end to end accountable for the operations and delivery of the E2E application services according to the agreed service levels. You'll be the day to day service integrator in the IT Service Operations organization, supporting Delivery Management to provide efficient and effective services and contribute to Top Quartile performance in costs and processes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience working with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint protection, ideally within a network security, or a security operations environment.
Experience in DevOps is essential
Broad knowledge of Security tools, programs and methodologies.
Experience deploying, integrating and supporting critical solutions in a complex environment.
Ability to profile and interpret security event logs, network traffic, system logs, and application logs and to identify developing patterns and trends.
An understanding of the correlation of events which are symptomatic of known types of attack such as DDoS, Insider Threat and Phishing
Qualifications such as CISSP, CCNP or CREST
Knowledge of syslog server, Splunk SDK, SPLUNK ITSI, SPLUNK Builder, API ServiceNow
