My client is in search of an IT Security Analyst who is passionate about all aspects of IT. A can-do attitude is required as the growth that this organisation is going through means increased responsibility is to be expected within your first year of joining this team of IT professionals.

Role responsibilities

  • Consistently keep up to date with the latest trends, threats and vulnerabilities in the IT Security arena

  • Monitor for security attacks and intrusions of the organisations systems

  • Act as a point of conduct for incident response and vulnerability assessments

  • Deal with security alerts and tickets and pass information on to team lead

  • Assist in the development of security policies and controls such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS

  • Conduct vulnerability management exercises to highlight areas of fragility

  • Monitor abuse of identity and access management permissions

The ideal candidate will have

  • 2+ Years’ professional experience in IT Security

  • A background in IT Support will make your application stand out

  • Experience working on Incident Response engagements

  • Experience conducting vulnerability management engagements using Qualys

  • Exposure to Paulo Auto, AWS and Azure

  • Experience working in line with Compliance regulations

  • Display experience working on Penetration Testing engagements

  • A background in Security Operations will make your application stand out

  • Have experience in dealing with Email phishing attacks

  • Display experience in reporting back to Senior members of the team in order to highlight risks effectively
