Internal Auditor – United Kingdom (Remote) - £40,000 - £70,000 + benefits


Locke & McCloud are working with a leading Cyber Security Consultancy looking for an Internal Auditor to join their growing team.

The client takes immense pride and invests heavily in their Cyber Security team, ensuring that they are equipped with the latest facilities readily available for consultants to conduct research and projects.

Auditors will work to provide expert cyber security and ISO 27001 technical advice, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with the client’s internal security policies, applicable laws, and regulations


Responsibilities:

  • Complete gap analysis, security audits, writing policies, and supporting companies so they can achieve their ISO27001 certification.

  • Undertaking security assurance assignments

  • Responsible for educating and developing any personnel staff on assurance processes

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and the best practices for IT management and cybersecurity

  • Reviewing the effectiveness of any existing security controls by gathering and testing evidence and evaluating the outcome

  • Support business development by maintaining and developing relationships with clients

Essential Experience

  • 2 years of public sector experience

  • Relevant experience in an ISO 27001-focused role, including the implementation of the framework

  • Strong knowledge of the industry standards and the best practice for IT management and cyber security

  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Essential Requirements:

  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification

  • Eligible to work in the UK and have the relevant right to work documents

  • Willing to travel
