Role: Manager of Information Security
Location: USA REMOTE
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 + 22 days PTO
I am currently working on a unique role for a major organization who are looking who are looking to hire a Manager of Information Security to manage a team of 8 and play a key role in managing and delivery the cyber security program for an enterprise level healthcare organisation.
The Manager of Information Security will also be tasked with mentoring, coaching and doing performance appraisals for team members.
Even though this is a management role and is not “hands on”, a strong technical background in security operations is important as the person will need to act as a point of escalation for security incidents and decide on remediation activities.
Duties Include:
Developing a security road map for all my client’s enterprise security technology.
Guiding an existing team of 8, who are focused on security operations, security engineering and governance activities.
Managing the vendor relationships, including the main point of contact with my client’s existing MSP.
Participating in hiring and selection process for all new team hires.
Requirements:
Experience managing a team of at least 5 people, ideally in a large or enterprise level organisation.
Deep knowledge in security operations and cyber incident response.
An understanding of GRC frameworks, including ISO 27001. HIPAA knowledge is desirable but not essential.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
At least one certification such as CISSP, CISM, GREM, GCFE or GCIH is strongly preferred.
