Information security manager - Surrey Hybrid - £55,000-£75,000 (DoE)+ bonuses

This is a great opportunity to lead and shape the information security strategy for a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

This role will involve:

  • Develop and execute information security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all digital resources.

  • Lead a team of security professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance the overall security posture.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security best practices into the company's technology architecture, applications, and processes.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to proactively adapt security measures.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.

  • Extensive experience in information security roles, with a proven track record of managing and enhancing security programs.

  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

  • Experience with risk management, compliance, and incident response.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
