Graduate Software Engineer- Nottingham, UK (Hybrid) £22,000 - £30,000
We are working alongside a leading Cyber Security Consultancy, and they are looking to add a Graduate Software Engineer to their team, whose focus lies on developing customer projects of varied scope and complexity and conducting research in line with company standards.
This role would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain exposure to a technical role and work effectively towards a Senior position.
As Graduate Software Engineers, you'll be expected to develop and code software, and successfully contribute towards developing documentation and training materials. This role may require occasional visits during the week to the office in Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
Develop and code software
Conduct functional testing and successfully validate developed code
Assist in providing third-line support to resolve any customer issues
Successfully investigate customer product use scenarios, and resolve any issues through configuration by working with the software development team
Undertake research activities
Requirements:
Degree in Software Engineering or similar background
Extensive programming knowledge, with the ability to write in languages like C++, Linux, or PHP
Ability to obtain a UK National Security Clearance
Desirable:
Good knowledge of Cyber Security/ICT technologies
Ability to write code in languages like JavaScript, Linux, Python, or Bash
