Location: Tucson, Arizona

Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and administer information security strategies and procedures.

• Develop and implement information security and governance programs aligned with organizational standards.

• Evaluate information risk regularly and raise security awareness within the organization.

• Create sub-function strategies and objectives, including budgets, policies, and procedures.

• Apply deep hands-on knowledge of security principles and best practices.

• Identify security risks and vulnerabilities, and proactively implement countermeasures.

• Lead and manage the security team, including hiring, training, and evaluations.

• Review and update security measures as necessary.

• Oversee daily security operations, identify risks, and propose enhancements.

• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability studies with mitigation plans.

• Investigate and resolve security matters.

• Analyze security trends and incidents to adjust security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• 2+ years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 5= years in leadership roles.

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations.

• Strong knowledge of security technologies, tools, and best practices.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
