DevSecOps Engineer - REMOTE - £65,000 - £80,000

Locke & McCloud are working with one of the most innovative FinTechs in the UK to recruit a DevSecOps engineer to join their rapidly expanding DevOps team.

Once starting, you will be responsible for driving the security programme across DevOps and the rest of the organisation as they continue to scale up. You will become the security SME and collaborate with Cloud and wider Platform teams to implement security by design into the full SDLC.

You will be...

  • Driving cloud security (AWS) initiatives to improve the current security posture.
  • Building security into the full SDLC.
  • A key point of contact for security across DevOps, developers, Cloud and Platform teams.
  • Automating tools and working in a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Deploying AWS infrastructure as code utilising Terraform and Ansible.
  • Reviewing application security (SAST, DAST).

To be successful you will need...

  • Hands-on experience in AWS environments.
  • Strong skills in infrastructure as code deployment using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with CI tools.
  • Knowledge of application security, secure code architecture and code review.
  • AWS Security certifications are not essential but would be beneficial.
  • Desire to improve and implement new security tools and processes.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a company as they undergo their expansion. This role would be perfect for someone looking to get into a next level DevSecOps position and join an organisation dedicated to personal development.

This is not a role to miss out on, for further details apply below!
