Data Privacy and Information Security Manager | UK Hybrid | £70,000-£90,000

A very exciting role has just come across my desk for a Data Privacy and Information Security Manager to join a leading Recruitment firm.

This rapid company growth is supported by enterprises providing them with huge opportunities for continued growth, and personal development to the person who join them.

You will be leading the project of building and maintaining Information Security and data protection policies, working with a great team in a fun/close knit environment.

This role will also have you involved in looking at the technical controls within the IT infrastructure, ensuring they comply with the group policies.


Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute robust information security strategies, aligning with Data Privacy, GDPR and Information Security standards

  • Oversee security protocols and risk assessment across all company systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data privacy policies and procedures, in accordance with GDPR guidelines.

  • Lead regular security audits, identifying vulnerabilities and driving implementation of effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CIPP or GDPR Certifications preferred

  • Proven track record in information security and data privacy management.

  • Expertise in Data Privacy, GDPR and ISO27001 regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively.

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Leadership acumen to mentor a dedicated team of information security and data privacy professionals
