I have a great opportunity to join a growing cyber consultancy as a Cyber Vendor Risk Consultant. This company works within a niche part of cyber and will provide a great opportunity to specialise in cyber security. As a Vendor Risk Consultant you will be responsible for keeping your clients safe from any potential risk posed by their suppliers. Using techniques such as risk assessments and audits to adjudicate any risk, and then use compliance skills to make them obsolete.
This role will involve:
Ensuring your client's suppliers pose minimal risk to their information security
Once risks are defined use mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth resolution
Upkeep compliance through continued audits and risk assessments to adjudicate severity levels
Constants communication between client stakeholders to convey the project details.
Working under industry standard frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and CIS
To be considered for the role you must have:
2 years in a third-party/vendor risk management role is essential
Experience completing assessments to adjudicate the severity of risk
Knowledge of IT Auditing is needed.
Previous experience working under industry frameworks stated
Strong client communication skills
