Cyber Security Training Specialist – London hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Training Specialist to join our clients growing and established cyber security training and awareness function. Due to recent significant growth across our clients Cyber Security team, our client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Training Specialist to develop and deliver various training programs across the business, both in 1-1’s and at large conferences exceeding up to 500 individuals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and delivering cyber security training programs, along with strong advisory skills and a deep understanding of the cyber security landscape.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security training programs tailored to the needs of our client, addressing various roles and levels of technical proficiency.
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to our clients employees across departments, utilising a combination of in-person and virtual formats.
Assess the training needs of different teams and individuals across our client, adapting training materials and content accordingly.
Stay informed about the latest cyber security trends, threats, and best practices, ensuring that training content remains current and relevant.
Provide expert guidance and advisory support to our clients internal stakeholders on cyber security matters.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including IT, HR, and compliance, to integrate cyber security training into our clients onboarding programs and ongoing employee development initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on cyber security training, contributing insights and expertise to internal projects, working groups, and committees.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Must have experience in a training focused role in Cyber Security.
Experience developing and delivering cyber security training programs.
Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and technologies.
Excellent advisory skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Up-to-date knowledge of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
