​Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: London

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000


My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join the team in London. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting the company's sensitive data and assets by monitoring and detecting potential security threats to their information systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities to the company's information systems and network infrastructure.

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the protection of our company's sensitive data and assets.

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify any gaps in our security infrastructure and recommend necessary improvements.

  • Collaborate with other teams to develop incident response plans and procedures and conduct regular security awareness training for all employees.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure that our security measures are effective and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in cyber security analysis or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, techniques, and best practices.

  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
