Cyber Risk Consultant

Cyber Risk Consultant – UK, Remote role - £80,000-£95,000

I am currently working with a client who are a renowned and successful cyber consulting company based in London. The company employs 120 people, with 35 people in the Cyber Risk and Information Assurance team. My client is looking to add 3 Cyber Risk Consultants, as they’ve expanded their client base over the past year.

My client is currently operating on a remote basis with a flexible working pattern. Anyone who is commutable to London is welcome to work in the office when they want, but with the team based all over the UK, this is not a requirement at all.

Responsibilities of a successful Consultant are:

• Engaging a variety of clients to identify any compliance gaps, creating plans to address, and implementing new security policies & standards.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with GRC frameworks and standards including ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR & Cyber Essentials.
• Mentoring junior team members and leading project teams of 2-4 people.
• Demonstrating expertise in all governance, risk, and compliance matters.

To be considered, you should have:

• 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar role, consulting experience is preferred but my client will hire people from industry.
• Good experience and understanding of working with one or more of the following frameworks: ISO, PCI, Cyber Essentials, GDPR or NIST.
• Experience making recommendations on how to manage company information securely.
• Great communication, presentation, and business writing skills.
