Locke & McCloud are working exclusively with a fast-growing FinTech company who are looking to expand their application security team. As an AppSec Specialist, you'll be focused on implementing and improving application security across the organisation as well as playing a key role in developing and delivering training and awareness materials.

You will be...

• Carrying out security reviews to discover risks and help develop mitigation plans.
• Performing application security testing (DAST, SAST, RASP).
• Working with developers, engineers and architects to implement application security.
• Advising developers on secure coding practices and standards.
• Advising on threat modelling and vulnerability remediation.
• Creating and delivering training materials for application security awareness and education.

Required experience

• Demonstrable SAST and DAST skills.
• Experience developing security testing functions.
• AWS or Azure experience.
• Strong understanding of ISO27001 and NIST frameworks.
