Application Security Engineer - Remote

​Application Security Engineer - Leading Tech Start-Up - Remote - £65,000-£75,000 Per Annum

I am currently working with one of the UK's fastest-growing technology start-ups who is looking to add an Application Security Engineer to their award-winning development team.

Ideally, you will come  with a background in software development to provide application security services including secure coding practices, education & awareness, security testing and guidance for software development projects

In light of the current situation with Covid-19 my client is moving towards a fully remote model with the option to work in the office in future

Responsibilities:

• Performing source code reviews across different platforms.

• Performing web and mobile application security testing.

• Work with engineers and Product teams on the importance of Application Security and Vulnerability Management

• Ability to create documentation when needed as well as defend and execute on findings

Experience:

• My client is ideally looking for someone with 3 years experience in the AppSec/DevSecOps space

• Experience working in AWS/Azure

• Experience in Java, Scala, Typescript, Python, Javascript, Ruby,

• Knowledge of OWASP top 10
