Application Security Engineer - Leading Tech Start-Up - Remote - £85,000-£100,000 Per Annum + Stock Options + Bonus

I am currently working with one of the UK's fastest-growing technology start-ups who is looking to add an Application Security Engineer to their award-winning development team.

Ideally, you will come with a background in software development to provide application security services including secure coding practices, education & awareness, security testing and guidance for software development projects

In light of the current situation with Covid-19 my client is moving towards a fully remote model with the option to work in the office in future

Responsibilities:

Performing source code reviews across different platforms.
Performing web and mobile application security testing.
Work with engineers and Product teams on the importance of Application Security and Vulnerability Management
Ability to create documentation when needed as well as defend and execute on findings

Experience:

My client is ideally looking for someone with 3 years experience in the AppSec/DevSecOps space
Experience working in AWS/Azure
Experience in Java, Scala, Typescript, Python, Javascript, Ruby,
Knowledge of OWASP top 10
