Application Security Engineer – Texas - $130,000 - $160,000
I'm working with a Fortune 500 Financial Services company who are hiring another passionate Application Security Engineer to join their valued DevSecOps team.
In this role, you will be completely hands-on and collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to secure the design, implementation and coding of applications. You will further mature their Application Security program and have the autonomy to implement your ideas as you best see fit.
To be considered for this role you should have:
2+ years' experience working as an Application Security Engineer.
Experience doing SAST/DAST/IAST.
Experience doing source code reviews.
Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell and/or Python) is desirable.
Relevant security certifications are desirable: CISSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, OSCP etc.
You will be given an uncapped training budget and allocated research time to dedicate to your personal Application Security projects. You will be also given a 40-hour capped working week because the company really cares about your work-life balance and wants you to have time to do the things you love outside of work!
