Application Security Engineer - REMOTE - £55,000-£75,000
Locke & McCloud are working with a growing health-tech company to recruit an Application Security Engineer. As the newest addition to the Security Engineering team you'll be working to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities across the organisation. The Security Engineering team works with operations and wider platform teams to implement security throughout the SDLC and acts as a key point of contact for product teams.
In this position you will be...
- Carrying out application security testing (SAST, DAST)
- Code scanning and secure code reviews
- Working with security architects and engineers to build security tooling
- Implementing security into the development lifecycle
- Performing threat modelling on business applications
- Supporting incident response activities
Desirable experience...
- Experience carrying out and managing appsec testing (SAST, DAST)
- Prior experience implementing security into SDLC
- Knowledge of threat modelling and intelligence
- Hands-on experience implementing AWS cloud security
- Proficiency in either Python, Java, Ruby or Bash
