Senior Data Privacy Analyst – London hybrid - £45,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Data Privacy professional to join our clients growing Data Privacy team! You will need a strong background in global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, in addition to a deep understanding of privacy principles, compliance frameworks, and data protection practices. In this role, you will take the lead on various data privacy projects and programs, take ownership of privacy-related initiatives and act as a subject matter expert for our clients senior stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
Work alongside the senior leadership team to develop and implement a complex data privacy strategy.
Act as a subject matter expert on global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, and other emerging regulations.
Lead various projects and programs across the global data privacy team, building most from greenfield stage.
Monitor and analyse changes in privacy legislation and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on our clients operations and practices.
Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with new projects, initiatives, or technologies.
Advise senior stakeholders such as the c-suite team and the board on data privacy changes, projects, programs, etc.
Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and external stakeholders on privacy-related matters.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Must have prior experience in a data privacy/protection role, preferably in a multinational or global company.
In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legal requirements to business operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex privacy issues and develop practical solutions and recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate privacy concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing privacy projects, initiatives, and compliance programs from inception to completion.
