Senior Data Privacy Analyst – London hybrid - £45,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits


Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Data Privacy professional to join our clients growing Data Privacy team! You will need a strong background in global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, in addition to a deep understanding of privacy principles, compliance frameworks, and data protection practices. In this role, you will take the lead on various data privacy projects and programs, take ownership of privacy-related initiatives and act as a subject matter expert for our clients senior stakeholders.


Main responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the senior leadership team to develop and implement a complex data privacy strategy.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, and other emerging regulations.

  • Lead various projects and programs across the global data privacy team, building most from greenfield stage.

  • Monitor and analyse changes in privacy legislation and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on our clients operations and practices.

  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with new projects, initiatives, or technologies.

  • Advise senior stakeholders such as the c-suite team and the board on data privacy changes, projects, programs, etc.

  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and external stakeholders on privacy-related matters.


To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Must have prior experience in a data privacy/protection role, preferably in a multinational or global company.

  • In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations, laws, and standards, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legal requirements to business operations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex privacy issues and develop practical solutions and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate privacy concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of managing privacy projects, initiatives, and compliance programs from inception to completion.
