Security Engineer (SOC) - Hybrid Role

Are you a seasoned Security Engineer with a passion for protecting critical assets and ensuring operational resilience? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer (SOC) to join a leading organization in Oklahoma. In this hybrid role, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client's infrastructure while enjoying the flexibility of remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats.

  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls and best practices.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.

  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats and industry trends to proactively enhance the organization's security posture.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.

  • Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.

  • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
