Security Engineer (SOC) - Hybrid Role
Are you a seasoned Security Engineer with a passion for protecting critical assets and ensuring operational resilience? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer (SOC) to join a leading organization in Oklahoma. In this hybrid role, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client's infrastructure while enjoying the flexibility of remote work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats.
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls and best practices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
Stay abreast of emerging security threats and industry trends to proactively enhance the organization's security posture.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
