Presales Firewall Consultant | UK Hybrid | £70,000-£90,000
I am working with a private equity backed consultancy that won MSSP of the year 2021 and provides top-class support to its clients. They are looking for a Presales Firewall Consultant to join their team.
This role is very much focused around supporting the sales team and bridging the gap between them and the technical teams. You will support and communicate with multiple clients, discussing the requirements and providing technical advice in a non-technical way so that they can understand.
You will communicate with stakeholders within these companies, keeping them up to date with projects being undertaken; this involves attending meetings, and conference calls and also presenting documents/presentations.

Creating LLD and HLD's documents for customer solutions
Being able to break down technical terms in a non-technical way
Liaising with multiple clients on scoping/requirements and also working closely with the sales team
Utilising your technical knowledge of different tools and technologies such as firewalling, networking, SIEM and cloud tools
Around 4 years experience within a technical role or two years within technical presales
Knowledge or experience with SIEM tools, Networking tools such as Checkpoint and Palo Alto, and cloud technologies
Azure experience preferred nut not essential
The ability to speak comfortably with multiple clients and discuss requirements/scoping in full
Extensive understanding of TCP/IP
